  • Yes, we teach children aged 6 and above, including heritage learners — children whose parents or grandparents speak Ukrainian.

  • Yes, we tailor lessons to your needs. Our students include people with Ukrainian partners, those working or planning to work in Ukraine, volunteers, people who want to join the Ukrainian armed forces, and those interested in Ukrainian culture or preparing for a trip.
We also prepare students for the Ukrainian language exam required for Ukrainian citizenship.

  • At the beginning, we recommend a more intensive schedule of 2–3 lessons per week. You may notice your first results during the initial lessons as you start recognising familiar words, understanding simple phrases, and using them in conversation.
Later, you can reduce the number of lessons while keeping a consistent learning routine. Your progress depends on your goals, previous experience, and the time you spend practising during and between lessons.

  • Your first trial lesson is free. After that, lessons cost $25 each, or just $20 per lesson when you book more than 8 lessons on a regular schedule. This means meeting at fixed weekly times agreed in advance, with those time slots reserved for you in your teacher’s calendar.

  • The minimum package is 4 lessons.

  • You can pay with Google Pay, Apple Pay, or a Visa or Mastercard. If you live in Ukraine, you can also pay by bank transfer using our IBAN. After your trial lesson, we’ll send you an invoice for your next lessons.

  • No, all paid lessons must be paid for in advance.

  • These are lessons at fixed times that we agree on with you and book in the calendar in advance. For example, every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00 p.m. Your teacher reserves these time slots specifically for you, so they are not available for other students to book.

  • Yes, you can book lessons at least 24 hours in advance, subject to your teacher’s availability.

The validity period starts on the date of your first lesson, which must take place within 7 days of payment. You can arrange one break of up to 30 days, which extends your package’s validity by the length of the break.
We’ll remind you about any remaining lessons before your package expires. Once it expires, the package is closed, and unused lessons are refunded at the price you actually paid for them.

  • Yes, you can arrange one break of up to 30 days per package with our manager. Please let us know in advance so we can cancel lessons scheduled during your break in accordance with our cancellation policy.

Lessons cancelled less than 3 hours in advance, or missed without notice, are deducted from your package and charged in full.

  • Please let your teacher know as soon as possible. If you haven’t joined within the first 20 minutes and haven’t notified your teacher, they may end the session. The lesson will then be treated as missed and charged in full.

  • Our standard cancellation policy applies: please notify your teacher or our manager at least 3 hours before the lesson starts. Lessons cancelled later or missed are charged in full.

  • Your teacher must notify you at least 3 hours before the lesson starts and arrange another mutually convenient time.
If your teacher cancels less than 3 hours in advance, including due to an emergency, we’ll reschedule your paid lesson and give you one additional lesson free of charge.

  • Yes. Contact us and we’ll cancel your upcoming lessons and refund any unused lessons at the price you actually paid for them.
Completed lessons, lessons missed without notice, and lessons cancelled less than 3 hours before their start time are non-refundable.
If you stop attending without telling us that you wish to end your lessons, sessions on the schedule agreed with you remain booked and are deducted from your package under our missed-lesson policy. Not attending lessons does not automatically cancel your package.

  • You’re welcome to share your preferences, and we’ll take them into account when matching you with a teacher. The final match depends on our teachers’ specialisations and availability.

  • Of course. If you don’t feel comfortable working together or would like to try a different teaching approach, contact our manager, Solomiia. She’ll suggest available options.
